Some students find the grading system tedious due to numerous weekly small assignments. Ignoring them can tank your grade, but finishing them provides a grade boost to make up for low exam scores. They are Pre-Lecture Assignments (6%), Lecture Problems (6%), HW (8%), and Knowledge check quizzes (8%).

Professors frequently create 1-2 hour videos of practice exam solutions. They’re focused on traditional long-form problem solving, and not heavy on tricks, shortcuts, or backdoor methods for getting correct answers fast. Make time for the TPE’s, because they are of equal difficulty compared to your actual exam, and the practice tests are ~50% easier and less vigorous than your actual exam.
